WaterCOLOUR - Part1

Join award-winning artist Maria Belderbos for a watercolour masterclass focusing on an essential aspect of the medium – colour.

During the relaxed, four hour workshop, students will be taken through some of the principals of colour – hue, saturation, value and temperature – with a mixture of simple theory and hands-on activities. 

In the second part of the workshop, students will be led through the painting of their own colour wheel to take home as both a practical aide for their own watercolour painting, as well as a beautiful piece of artwork in itself.

The workshop is designed for both beginners alongside those with experience in the medium. Exploring watercolour theory in a relaxed, accessible and instructive way, students will enjoy a day of sociable painting, as well as learning practical skills to take away and continue exploring at home.
